In Oak Class we believe in working hard, having fun and always trying our best.
We learn lots of exciting topics and often go on great trips linked with them. When we were learning about the Victorians we went to Sevington School to spend a day being Victorian school children (no smiling allowed!) in a real Victorian classroom. Also we went on our residential to PGL and learnt how to abseil, build rafts and treetop walks.
We also take part in lots of sporting activities and competitions and sent teams to: Tag Rugby, Netball, Football and Athletics to name but a few.
As our class contains the older children we have lots of extra responsibilities. Some of our Year 6 children are House Captains and organise different sports teams and events. The children of Oak class also have representatives on the School Council and Eco-School Council.
Mrs Cordell and Mrs Hardy are our Teaching Assistants and helps us every day in the mornings and afternoons.
