Term 5, week 2

Date: 23rd Apr 2024 @ 5:00pm

We had a lot of fun using torches in Science this week. The children were sweetly very excited and worked so nicely together thinking about how we see things, the importance of light in seeing, how light is reflected and which materials are reflective.

In computing we used our ipads to take digital image and then spent time editing these - cropping, rotating and enhancing in many ways.

The Anglo-Saxon battle speeches were finished by the end of the week and, as I said to many parents and staff, they are FANTASTIC! The children should all be proud of themselves.

In maths, Year 4 have been amazing with decimal numbers and Y3 have had a really good go at tricky 'time' problems.

If parents could help with reading clocks at home, that would be amazing, thank you!
