Our Christian Vision and Values

Our Christian Vision and Values are at the heart of our school and guide how we treat each other.

We have spent some time over the last term thinking about what Values represent our school and what is most important to us. When we first wrote our vision back in 2019, the world was a different place (COVId hadn't been heard of yet) and the school was different then too. Our school has been on a great journey over the last few years and it is right that we rethink that important question, "Why are we here?"

Our revised vision and chosen values reflect exactly that question both for staff, children, parents, governors and all our communities.

Ampney Crucis is a school family, where, through different experiences our children grow surrounded by love, so they are strong both in body and in mind. We support and respect each other, working as one to welcome all and walk alongside those who need it most, looking outward, recognising when one part of our community sufferes, we all suffer, yet when one flourishes we all flourish.

At Ampney Crucis we all flourish together.

"God himself has put the body together in such a way as to give greater honour to those parts that need it. And so there is no division in the body, but all its different parts have the smae concern for one another. If one part of the body suffers, all the other parts suffer with it; if one part is praised, all the other parts share its happiness."

Together, we live, learn and flourish.

Kindness runs through everything we do in our school.

The Values we will be focusing on are;

Respect

Courage

Compassion

Together we live, learn and flourish
