Term 2, week 7 - Thursday 19th December

Well, we made it to the Christmas holidays!  Maple Team would like to thank you all for your generosity in the gifts we received at the end of term.  They are very much appreciated. We also wanted to let you know what a pleasure it is to be teaching your children.  They really have settled in so well and have made strong friendships in the time they have been with us here at Ampney Crucis. 

This week has been all about Christmas!  We had our Christmas service at the church, where many of you joined us to see your children take part in the Nativity.  We also had our Christmas lunch followed by our Christmas parties on Wednesday afternoon and had a very special visitor - Father Christmas.  The children loved meeting him and were very confident at putting their hands up to talk to him.  We also spent lots of time getting crafty making lots of Christmas crafts for the children to take home.

Today we finished off the term by singing around the Christmas tree before lunch time.  We joined in with Willow Class in singing a song, Spread the Joy, from our joint Nativity last week - The Inn Crowd.  We also enjoyed listening to Key Stage Two perform their songs, we even heard Jingle Bells sang in French!

So, finally, it leaves us to wish you all the most fantastic Christmas, we really hope you have a magical time, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Maple Class in 2025 for lots more fun and learning.
