Our Reading Ambassadors

We have reading ambassadors across the school who are there to help to promote a love of reading both within the classroom and across the school.

The reading ambassadors are part of a bigger project with a cluster of schools called the Year of Reading, where schools are working collaboratively to promote reading in schools and improve the outcomes for those children who find reading difficult.

So far, the Reading Ambassadors have attended a launch of the project with a workshop run by Christopher Edge, whose latest book is called The Escape Room and a talk by the author of Wild Oak, CC Harrington. Both events were very enjoyable.

Reading Ambassadors from last year have been joined by new ambassadors ready to spread the love of reading during 2024 and 2025.
