Term 5, week 7

Date: 29th May 2024 @ 11:34am

Our term ended with another busy week where Miss Smith has upped her teaching responsibility as per the requirements of her course.

The children looked into 'How dark were the Dark Ages?' in History and designed sun-protection (hats or glasses) in Science.

Miss Smith has been teaching measures with Year 4, and I have started looking at angles with Year 3, in Maths.

Our fantastic alternative chapter / flashback narratives for The Legend of Podkin One-Ear are now finished and are a real treat to read!

By Friday afternoon we were all tired but we enjoyed some informal book talk with partners, utilised the library trolley and enjoyed reading with friends using the blankets, throws and cushions in the classroom. A lovely way to end the term!
