Willow Class blog Term 2 Week 5

Only 19 sleeps unti Christmas! We have had another busy week in WIllow Class. We have been putting in our final rehearsal for our nativity. Please have a restful weekend and we look forward to sharing it with you all next week. We have in Maths been looking at the number 8 and 9 and Year 2s have been looking at 3D shapes. We have in Science looked at Winter and Spring and how the weather changes, we have also ordered Florence Nightingale's achievements. We were also very lucky to have Miss Shirley visit from the Everyman theatre to tell us all about Aladdin ready for next weeks show.
We have enjoyed:
- Weighing parcels in the post office - Charlie and Felix.
- Practising our nativity in full costume with Maple Class - Gracie.
- Creating my own Bluey story in our new inside writing area - Annabelle.
- Editing photos in Computing - Finley.
- Creating moving pictures in DT - Octavia.
- Learning the 'eer' sound this week - Roman.
- Creating our own cards in the post office - Freddie.
- Looking at how in Spring baby animals are born in Science - Raf.
- Practising our nativity songs - Archie.
- Making 3D shapes using their nets - Ivy.
