Willow Class Blog Term 3 Week 3

Date: 24th Jan 2025 @ 3:01pm

Another busy week of learning in Willow this week! In Maths Y1 have been looking at shape and began looking at number 11 today. Y2 have been looking closely at direction. This weekend, why not challenge them to follow some instructions (especially turns!). In Geography we used aerial maps of the village to identify human and physical features. In Computing, we created our own digital music by drawing shapes. In Science we made bridges to test out different materials - wood was the best material!

We have enjoyed this week:

  • Phonics learning the ow and oe sounds - Gracie.
  • Creating pastel cityscapes - George and Bea.
  • Looking at shape in Maths - Raf
  • Finding out the end of Send for a superhero - Archie.
  • Going to Forest school and making a hedgehog - Finley.
  • Making fat balls at Forest school - Octavia.

Have a lovely and restful weekend. Hopefully we won't get blown away!

Happy Friday!
