Willow Class Blog Week 3

Date: 22nd Nov 2024 @ 12:02pm

We are already at the end of another week!

We have had a fabulous time in the snow, looked at how animals hibernate and started to write our own Jim and the Beanstalk sequals. In Maths, Y1 have been looking at number patterns and Y2 have been subtracting two two-digit numbers.

We have enjoyed:

  • Writing and practising my number bonds - Gracie.
  • Creating 3D shapes out of magnetic tiles -Freddie, Grey.
  • Looking at how ice melts during explore and learn time - Charlie and Freddie.
  • Writing my own Jim and the Beanstalk story - Archie.
  • Doing teddy breathing with our ladybirds Dotty and Daisy - George.
  • Making a snow globe picture - Annabelle.
  • Looking at counter and number patterns in Maths - Raf.
  • Reading lots of different books - Roman.

Please ensure Nativity costumes, if not already, are bought in with names on. We will begin to practise in costume next week. Please keep practising the lines, we are very excited to show you in a few weeks time.

If you haven't already, please send in wellies for playtime.

Have a lovely weekend!

Happy Friday!
