Willow Class blog - Week 6 Term 3
Date: 14th Feb 2025 @ 11:24am
The final week of term is complete! We hope you all have a lovely rest and look forward to seeing you back on the 24th. We have had a very busy week in Willow including this morning learning how to play Tchoukball. We have been exploring waterproof materials in Science, in Music we have written our own version of our football chant to include cricket and in RE learnt all about the significance of Mount Hira to Muslims. In Geography we also finished our Shanghai topic by looking at what Shanghai is like for a child going to school.
We have enjoyed:
- The new airport and plane - Ivy and Lilli.
- Creating artwork inspired by Mezinger and grids - George.
- Learning about the religion of Islam - Roman.
- Playing Tchoukball with Luke and Beth - Annabelle, Finley, Penny and Archie.
- Creating a painting of Mount Hira - Esme.
- Making my own passport and boarding passport - Bea.
- Looking at space in explore and learn and drawing a moon and earth diagram - Raf and Gracie.
- Playing with the different houses and building in small world - Freddie
We have loved our new airport area and plane, see below some pictures. This help us with our new topic on hot and cold places.
Have a fabulous holiday!
