Willow Class Blog Week 6 Term 2

Date: 13th Dec 2024 @ 1:21pm

Another week has flown by! We have had an incredibly busy week with performing our natiivity and visiting Cheltenham to see Aladdin at the Everyman. We have been looking at seasonal change in Science by drawing appropriate clothing for the weather and in RE retold the nativity story. We enjoyed performing our nativity to you all and what an amazing job we did! Thank you for all your help with costumes, lines and coming along.

We have enjoyed this week:

  • Exploring our small world area hospital - Felix.
  • Visiting the Panto - the magic carpet was amazing! Finley and Roman
  • Writing our own Christmas stories - Freddie.
  • Writing letters for Santa in the post office - Ivy.
  • Writing my Garfield story - Humphrey.
  • I loved seeing Tweedy going to the naughty chair - Annabelle.

I am so proud of how hard the children have worked on their nativity. They were fantastic! Now for a well-earned rest before the chaos of the final week of term begins.

A reminder that we are having a Christmas party on Wednesday afternoon so children can bring in a jumper and hat to change into. Please ensure everything is named.

Each Friday we do a show and tell, where the children can bring something in or may choose to share some learning. If you have something to share please send it in to be placed in our cupboard on a Thursday or Friday. Any photos can be emailed to the office. Please do not send anything in that is valueable or delicate as we don't want anything broken. Children only have access to their show and tell when they show it.

Happy Friday!

Merry Christmas
