Willow Class Week 5

We have had a fantastic morning in Church celebrating Harvest ferstival where we performed our own harvest poem. In English we have started to create our own soup kitchen adverts and in History we looked at how the Great Fire was put out. We also created our own minibeast mansions in Science and an Art masterpiece (see gallery) as a class, based on the work of Jackson Pollock.

We have enjoyed this week:

• I enjoyed splattering the paint in art (Toby).
• I enjoyed making my own tudor-era house in explore and learn time (Charlie).
• I have enjoyed playing phonics splat about the /n/ graphemes (Octavia).
• I enjoyed making the pop art pumpkins for our Harvest display (Freddie).
• I have loved learning the a-e sound this week in phonics (Gracie).
