Willow Term 2 Week 7 - Merry Christmas!

Date: 19th Dec 2024 @ 8:25am

We made it! Happy end of term to all. We have had a very busy Autumn term 2 and I know the children will be glad of the Christmas break to reset ready for Spring term. We have had a very busy term practising and performing our nativity, cooking with Mel and the panto trip alongside all the amazing learning that happens in Willow class daily. We are so proud of how hard the children have worked to produce amazing pieces of writing, an incredible nativity (whilst fighting off illness) and let their confidence shine this term.

December included having a very special visitor - Elfie! He is a very cheeky elf who has been up to mischief when the children go home. He has created his own zip wire, taking selfies (including sitting in Mrs Wood's offfice), melted a snowman and even Kit tried to stop him being cheeky! Today we said goodbye to him as he got his passport ready to board the plane back to the North pole.

Here is what we have enjoyed this week:

  • Making reindeer decorations - Roman.
  • Making snow globes - Freddie, Grey and Finley.
  • Completing Christmas wordsearches - Gracie.
  • Making Gonk door handles - Charlie.
  • We all enjoyed playing musical snowmen in our party yesterday!
  • Seeing Santa - Penny.

We have included a few photos from the last few days - including a very special visitor!

Have a lovely restful Christmas, we look forward to hearing all about your adventures next year!

Thank you for all your support this term,

Miss Jackson, Mrs Gardener and Willow Class.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Together we live, learn and flourish
